NAD+

Nicotinamide Adenine Dinucleotide

NAD+ is a co-enzyme that is vitally important to cellular health. Just like oxygen, cells will die if they do not have NAD+.  Because of this, NAD+ deficiency leads to a wide variety of degenerative conditions.

NAD+ aka "Metabolic Rocket Fuel"

Benefits of IV NAD+

  • Restores cellular production of energy (ATP)

  • Protects and repairs DNA (PARP 1)

  • Regulates and strengthens the immune system (CD38)

  • Anti-aging effect by protecting telomeres

  • Improves sleep quality (SIRT 1)

  • Improves and balances brain chemistry including dopamine, serotonin, noradrenaline

  • Improves the metabolism of fats and carbohydrates and reduces the production of fat cells (SIRT 1 & 3)

  • Improves athletic function and recovery

  • Improves cognitive function mental clarity

Each IV NAD+ includes supportive nutrients to maximize the benefits from the NAD+ including:

  • Magnesium

  • Selenium

  • Potassium

What will I feel during IV NAD+?

During the NAD IV, patients may feel a "sensation" in certain areas of their body where they are the most difficent. This sensation, which is not painful, can be felt in the head (pressure), sinuses, heart (increased heart hate), or stomach (nausea); and is managed and reduced by slowing down the drip-rate. The harmless sensation is a physical manifestation of cellular activity and a good indicator of NAD levels in the body. The sensation ceases immedietly once the IV is done and gives place to increased vitality and wellbeing. Overtime and with replenished NAD levels, the sensation will deminish or even disapear, which is a positive indicator.

How many IV's will I need?

Most patients see immediate results from IV NAD, especially when it comes to increased energy and mental clarity. It can be easier to predict how many IV's of NAD would be ideal based on how your first IV goes and if any sensations arise. If the sensation was strong, we recommend a follow up "loading dose" to get your body back on track. Some people will chose to come in Bi-weekly, others prefer quaterly maintenance IV's. The occurance of IV's can be reviewed with Doctor during your IV; or prior to your IV with a one-on-one private consultation.

Is there any required blood work?

No blood work is required for IV NAD.

What dose should I receive?

We recommend patients start with a low dose of 250mg to gauge how they tolerate the NAD. The dosage can increase to 500mg, 750mg or 1000mg as needed.

Low Dose IV NAD+ for Wellness

Low dose IV NAD+ is a great way to boost wellness if you are already healthy and want to improve overall function and well-being.  We can add 50-250mg of NAD to most of your IV's (Myer's cocktail, hydration and Ozone).

Note: Higher doses of  NAD+ are recommended if you are actively trying to address a specific health concern.
